The Senior Experience
A senior experience with Picture This Photography includes your consultation appointment, shooting time, editing and image preparation, and a reveal & ordering session. A yearbook photo will also be sent to your yearbook adviser.
Total Experience - $350
Up to 3 hours of shooting time, with locations and wardrobe changes only limited by time. Expect around 50+ images to choose from. This session is intended for those wanting to capture their individuality, including activities and large props (cars, bikes, pets, etc.). In this experience, you have the option to include professional hair and make-up with my amazing stylist, Lindsay, at no additional charge! She will hang with us for the majority of the session to be sure you look your best. You can choose from one look (flawless airbrush make-up) or two (not airbrush).
Classic Experience - $200
Up to 90 minutes of shooting time, in one location, with two or three outfits. Variety will depend on the location chosen. Expect around 30 images to choose from.
Petite Experience - $100
Up to 30 minutes of shooting time, in one location, with one outfit. Most images will be very similar, with little variety. Expect around 15 images to choose from. This session is intended for those seeking a yearbook portrait, still with the option of purchasing additional products.
Your session fee is due in full at your initial consultation appointment and will secure your session date. It is non-refundable (unless I am unable to do your session). Sessions will be rescheduled if poor weather prevents the session. Prints & products are not included in the session fee.
Prints & Products
Several packages and a la carte items are available. I offer gift prints, wall hangings, and albums. There is a $250 minimum print & product requirement for any session.
My goal is to provide each client with an amazing experience AND gorgeous products. I have many people ask about getting images on a disc or flash drive. While this is an option, it comes at a much higher cost than most of my products. Why? I want to be able to guarantee your prints and products, and have them be a representation of my professional standards. But I can't do that if you get them printed yourself at places like Meijer, Sam's, Walmart, etc. The professional labs I use for my products use high-quality ink and materials. They have high standards for quality, color, workmanship, etc. Then your products come to me, and have to also pass my inspection.
I know you may want to share your images online. That is why I include social media copies of the images you order. These are not for printing purposes, but for online sharing. Editing or printing these images is a violation of copyright law.
Please go here and complete the Senior Inquiry Form. I'll get back to you about setting up your senior portrait experience with Picture This Photography. I look forward to meeting with you!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What do I do first?
A: Please complete the inquiry form (link above) to help me get to know you and what you are looking for. Start thinking about the perfect season and location for your session.
Q: Where should we do the session?
A: I shoot on location, so if you know of a great looking outdoor place in the Jackson/Calhoun/Eaton County area, we can go there! I have a few locations I use regularly as well. I like to find unique locations for my seniors so you all have your own incredibly unique collection of images!
Q: What should I wear?
A: I am seriously not a fashion expert at all! But one thing I do recommend is accessories! Ladies, bring your favorite pair of heels, chunky necklaces, bracelets, earrings, headbands...wear a little more make-up than usual. Bring outfits you feel good in. Something dressy, something classic/timeless (that won't go out of style next week), something casual... Google "senior picture wardrobe" and see what comes up. :) You could also check Pinterest - there are tons of ideas there!
Q: My face has broken out the day of my session! Should I reschedule??
A: Probably not! Unless your whole face has dramatically changed color, I can make it go away. :) If you think it's a major problem and you won't feel comfortable, we can push it back a week or two.
Q: Can the family come along?
A: Mom and/or Dad are welcome to tag along, but it's usually best not to bring the whole crew. Although their intentions are good, family members tend to be more distracting than helpful. But parents are great for carrying your clothes and accessories for you and noticing little things like out-of-place hair! Also keep in mind, especially if they are footing the bill for this, they probably will want to come along...and that's okay. :) A note to parents...Your senior will probably be most natural in front of the camera if you are not always right there. While we love having you there, please give us a little space once in a while. :)
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Absolutely! Friends often help you feel more comfortable and natural. Plus they can carry your clothes and accessories. :) You could also schedule a BFF session! Ask for details.
Q: None of the packages fit exactly what I need...What do I do?
A: No problem. Let me know what all you do need, and I will help you pick the right package, substitutes and upgrades.
Q: I want to order more than what's in my package. Where are the prices?
A: Again, no problem! This happens a lot! You are welcome to order additional products off the a la carte menu. If you want something that's not listed, just ask, because it may be available!
Q: Do you have any discounts?
A: Referring another senior from your school that is a GREAT way to save $25 on your Senior Session, or earn great rewards! However, since you were so thorough and read through all these FAQ's, go ahead and add a free set of wallets to your Senior Collection. You will need to mention that you read this in the FAQs!
